Color Me Healthy (CMH )is a five-week summer program beginning the week of June 19 that serves kids throughout the Rockbridge area. Our goal is to get fresh fruits and veggies out into our community and to show kids how fun & colorful healthy eating can be!
Colorful boxes of produce are distributed weekly for five weeks. (Contact your school for pickup details.)
Fun facts, quick and easy recipes, nutrition facts, and fun activities will be uploaded here on our website as well as our facebook group page.
Contact your child's school to enroll.
Not eligible for school nutrition programs? You can still participate in Color Me Healthy! Use your own produce or visit the RARA Food Pantry, and follow along with the weekly lesson content on this website.
This summer program is a joint effort of Rockbridge Area Relief Association (RARA), Campus Kitchen at Washington and Lee, and Virginia Cooperative Extension.
